Cyber Security Working Group

Public Group active 10 months ago

Software designed by open source standards has security built in and has been found to be fielded with far fewer faults per unit of code than proprietary development houses. This factor is especially true when the open source code is commercially supported There are many myths out there on this subject. Some of those myths are just misunderstandings.

Cyber Security is a critical facet of adoption of open source technology and solutions. This working group is focused on debunking the myths and exploring approaches to advancing the issues of cybersecuity within open source.
